Look before you book
The booking schedule for city event venues, including the Monett Casino, is now available online so community members who would like to book the venues for private or public events are able to check availability online before making their reservations.
Reservations will continue to be scheduled through Dennis Myers at dmyers@cityofmonett.com or by calling City Hall at 417-235-3763, Ext. 4.
The city offers event space at the City Park Casino located at South Park, the Monett Community Building and at the Jerry D. Hall Memorial Pavilion in the Glen and Sharon Garrett Downtown Park on Front Street.
The Casino is a modern facility that can accommodate groups large and small. The facility has a 4,032 square-foot main hall and a 900 square-foot lounge that can be rented separately or together for a total of 4,932 combined square feet. The venue also includes amenities like a kitchen, large screen mounted TVs and a projector for presentations.
Casino rentals include set-up and tear-down by city staff, and tables and chairs are available to renters. Those who are interested in renting the City Park Casino may view set-up options on the city website.
The Monett Community Center is located at 601 County Road and is available for $30 an hour. The Community Center does not permit live music, DJ’s or alcohol.
The primary purpose of this facility is to serve as a shelter for weather or disaster events; such events will take precedence over any scheduled non-emergency event. Rental fees will be refunded in instances where the building is not available due to emergency use.
The Jerry D. Hall Memorial Pavilion is the home of Monett’s Farmer’s Market, First on Front and the Monett Area Chamber of Commerce’s regular Food truck Fridays. The venue a covered, outdoor picnic area adjacent to the park playground and splashpad. The $50 an hour rental includes use of the covered pavilion, however, other parkgoers will still have use of playground equipment, the splash pad and other facilities.
