Spring Cleaning

At the request of Monett Mainstreet, a 501(c)3 Nonprofit funded in part by the City of Monett, Monett Public Works is currently in the process of conducting some spring-cleaning downtown, by removing dozens of heavy concrete flower planters that have suffered wear and tear over the years.

Monett Main Street initiated a flower hanger program downtown three years ago. With the success of the program, the organization said it feels the old planters, which were maintained by downtown businesses for many years, were no longer necessary.
